CREMA – two espresso beakers: turquoise and coral wave

My ranges

My ranges are designed to give lasting pleasure by making everyday moments special and precious.

Careful detailing combined with rich glaze textures or brightly coloured brush decoration ensures these pieces lend themseves to quite moments alone, intimate meals with special friends, or relaxed, outdoor summer eating.

Over time, and with regular handling, they will reveal the tactile qualities and individual variations that will make them familair and much loved friends.

Gala place setting

gala

Hand thrown from red earthenware clay and decorated with coloured slips, Gala was conceived for summer lunches in the garden or indulgent weekend breakfasts. The lively decoration, applied while rotating on the potter's wheel, gives each piece its unique character.

Available from: notonthehighstreet.com, Ora Gallery, Sheffield – and also from my studio.

Aurora place setting

aurora

Hand thrown from stoneware clay and decorated with overlapping glazes Aurora’s chic clean lines are inspired by the black soil and flat horizons of the fen landscape outside my Soham studio.

Available to order from: my studio.

Bowls from my sienna range

Sienna

Hand thrown from stoneware clay, dipped in a dark black tenmoku with a kaki (persimmon) glaze poured inside each piece, Sienna is my “classic” range.

It was the first and for many years its subtle oilspot finish graced the shelves of the David Mellor shops in London, Manchester and Hathersage.

Available to order from: my studio.

Luna place setting

luna

Hand thrown from stoneware clay, dipped in the same tenmoku as Sienna and with a titanium glaze poured inside creating tones from pale blue to black, Luna is inspired by the starry night skies outside my studio in deepest rural France where there is little light pollution. It is proving to be a great favourite.

Available from: notonthehighstreet.com, Ora Gallery, Sheffield, Felsted Studio, Essex – and also from my studio.
